Job Objectives Plan, direct, and/or coordinate by establishing sales plan and goal, setting up a sales team, training sales representatives, and expanding sales territories and quotas. Analyze marketing demand to determine types of product, sales potential, inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers. Be responsible for securing new business opportunities and contribute towards the company sales in Dietary supplements markets. Duties and Responsibility
Create and develop sales plan, targets, and/or goals. Project and forecast annual and quarterly revenue and sales territories.
Develop strategies to acquire new wholesalers, distributors, retailers and fulfillment houses.
Direct and coordinate sales, marketing and customer services activities of manufactured products.
Analyze sales data and develop plans to address performance gaps.
Establish and maintain interpersonal business relationships to facilitate work activities
Oversee local and international sales.
Develop new business opportunities for dietary supplement products including herbs through lead generation, prospecting and cold calling.
Consistently move the prospect towards a positive buying decision or commitment.
Plan and exhibit domestic as well as international trade shows/Expos and schedule meetings with prospective clients.
Monitor competition, economic indicators, and industry trends.
Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA preferred.
5+ years of experience in a company of dietary supplements with at least 3 years in a Sales Manager role.
Strong commercial skills and an understanding of the Dietary Supplement market.
Must have a sound understanding of the regulatory environment in developed markets to be able to identify opportunities and translate them into company business proposals.
Skilled at the application of social media.
